lot-0000, title: b1, vke d181, replacement construction of the josef-kardinal-frings bridge - engineering services for in-depth structural diagnostics, description: description of the planning task the content of this planning task is the creation of: • an investigation concept for the substructures of the josef-kardinal-frings bridge (b 1) based on the existing documentation and the results of a previously conducted investigation on four existing piers to determine compressive strength, e-modulus, and ebv analysis • relevant plans for the structural investigations, including a detailed construction site setup plan based on local conditions • a performance description for the required structural investigations through tests on the structure as well as through sampling • participation and support for the preparation of the tender documents as well as participation in the awarding • a result protocol of the laboratory results including planning and coordination of the necessary laboratory analyses • a result report with evaluation and assessment of the measurement results for the core drilling test and summarizing all test results including engineering assessment and recommendations for the replacement construction of the josef-kardinal-frings bridge, which connects düsseldorf and neuss over the rhine as part of b1. reason for the investigation the josef-kardinal-frings bridge (b 1) is a rhine bridge that connects the cities of neuss and düsseldorf. to the west, b 1 connects to the a 57 and thus fulfills an important feeder function to the highways a 46/a 57 as well as to the düsseldorf city center and the neuss harbor. furthermore, a double-track tram line of public transport runs over the joseph-kardinal-frings bridge. detailing of the planning task to fully meet the planning task, comprehensive expert services from the following two subject areas must be provided: 1. material technical investigations on the structural concrete (determination of compressive strength on the core sample, building substance testing, e-modulus determination) in accordance with the specifications of the technical regulations regarding scope and evaluation procedures. 2. analytics according to the replacement building materials ordinance (ebv) (sampling concept, chemical laboratory investigations, and classification according to material classes of the ebv). if the contractor cannot demonstrate the required qualification for both subject areas, the material technical investigation is to be considered the leading service. in this case, the services of material analytics (ebv) are to be provided as a subcontractor service by a suitably qualified expert and must already be definitively named upon submission of the offer. the planning task is divided into a total of three successive processing phases (1-3)
