lot-0012, title: the 12 - united arab emirates, oman, qatar energy-efficient construction, building modernizations and integrated smart city solutions in the gulf, description: target country: united arab emirates, oman, qatar application area: energy efficiency possible date: q2 + q3 2027 objective: the measure aims to place german smes, among others from the fields of automated building technology (including sensors or energy management systems), sector coupling, district cooling, or iot platforms for home or neighborhood management primarily in the emirati building sector. initially, german company solutions and best practices should be presented to a high-profile target audience of institutional, political, and business decision-makers. the neighboring markets around qatar and oman should be sensibly integrated into the travel agenda, while the uae should be the primary focus of the measure. a central focus of the gr is also the initiation of tangible sales opportunities. one emphasis is on showcasing the performance of german technologies and establishing business contacts with potential partners and customers through individual meetings. the travel agenda, including the design of the event format, should be aligned with this objective. the overarching goal of the measure is to create a framework for sustainable business relationships and to strengthen the visibility of relevant technologies and solutions from germany. note: the gr will be advertised in combination with a web. participation in the web is independent of registration for the gr. the aim is to inform german companies about the target market and the focal topic while simultaneously increasing german companies' interest in participating in the upcoming gr. a regional zma (special version) will be created, covering the uae, qatar, and oman. three individual potential analyses for the united arab emirates, oman, and qatar are to be prepared. bilateral energy partnerships and dialogues should be integrated into the preparation and implementation of the measure. the guidelines described in the manual are to be applied during project implementation.
