lot-0001, title: costs related to the postage of mail items affixed by the client, with or without collection service, description: the items concerned by this lot will only be addressed and stamped items. the client will have stamped the mail items themselves through the following means: - affixing proof of payment of the rate compensating for the processing of items via a franking machine and/or - placing items in branded envelopes intended for deferred compensation and/or - independent solution for sending packages that do not fall under the previously described franking methods. and/or - preparing their items for mass addressed mailing. the client may either call upon a collection service from the contractor to collect the items or deposit them at an access point or post office (depending on the contractor's capabilities). the client must therefore be able to: - load the necessary credits for using the franking machine through the contractor (or equivalent) - pay the rates compensating for the processing of items through deferred compensation to the contractor - pay the rate compensating for sending small packages separately to the contractor - benefit from a specific rate for mass addressed mailings. the acquisition of envelopes and the printing of the logo intended for either the deferred compensation of items or the postage paid by the client as the recipient are the responsibility of the client and are not part of this contract. the printing of clients' mail is not part of this contract. the contractor will also be responsible for sorting, transporting, and distributing the addressed and stamped items concerned by this lot to their recipients. lot-0002, title: collection, sorting, franking, transport/dispatch, and distribution of mail items, description: this lot concerns the collection, sorting, franking, transport/dispatch, and distribution of mail items to their recipients. the steps of the postal process do not necessarily have to be executed cumulatively. the client will hand over the unfranked mail items to the employee responsible for collection. the items concerned by this lot will only be addressed and unfranked items.
