Contract Awarded to Provide inspection and calibration servicesContract awarded July 2021LLA was being contracted to perform aviation works flight and calibration inspections on air navigation equipment specifically instrument landing system ILS doppler very high-frequency omni range DVOR distant measuring equipment DME and non-directional beacon locator NBD.LLA will be in charge of aircraft preparation which will include preparing the aircraft for flight inspection and calibration and crew preparation which will include providing a sufficient and capable crew to conduct the inspection and calibration of flights.The company should prepare of flight inspection system and support equipment to conduct inspection flights and calibration of CAAM owned navigation equipment inspection and calibrary flight procedures and reporting to ICAO Doc 8071 and flight schedule inspection and calibration which should be completed at least 20 days prior to the flight date.LLA will also be required to implement the Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs PROTEGE programme as set by the government and approved by the PROTEGE Secretariat.Hubline states the CAAM contract is for 60 months from January 1 2022 to December 31 2026.
