On May 20, 2024, Ambassador Pang Chunxue met with Kozeli, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Albanian Parliament. The two sides exchanged views on China-Albania relations and exchanges between legislative bodies.
Ambassador Pang Pang highly appreciated Afghanistan's long-term adherence to the one-China principle and said that China and Afghanistan have a profound traditional friendship. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy, trade, culture, education and other fields have been steadily advancing. China and Afghanistan should not forget their original aspirations and take this year's 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to promote exchanges and cooperation between the legislative bodies and promote greater development of China-Arab relations in the new era.
Kozeli said that the people of Afghanistan and China are good friends. In the 1960s and 1970s, the two sides interacted closely in various fields and jointly wrote a story of friendship spanning mountains and seas. Afghanistan has always attached great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to continuously expand exchanges and cooperation with China in areas such as legislation and people-to-people and cultural exchanges, maintain traditional friendship, and benefit the two peoples.
