π Tender Overview
Angola is joining forces to achieve sustainable development and consolidate peace, solidarity and fraternity among all, said the Angolan ambassador to this country, Manuel Pedro Chaves, in Krakow, Poland.
For the diplomat who spoke at the ceremony commemorating the 49th Anniversary of National Independence, "it is not yet the Angola that was dreamed of, but we are certain that, since the hatchet and weapons of war were buried and peace was established on April 4, 2002", things continue to move towards this goal.
According to Manuel Chaves, he stressed that Angolans achieved peace and stability through dialogue, regardless of party affiliation, ethnicity, religious belief, gender, race or social background.
In his speech, at the event attended by dozens of Angolans living in Poland, the ambassador highlighted the Lobito Corridor and the Dr. AntΓ³nio Agostinho Neto International Airport as important achievements for the country's development.
He also referred to the training program for staff, the construction and reconstruction of school, hospital and airport infrastructures, bridges and roads and the revitalization of agriculture and livestock farming, among others.
On the occasion, some members of the Angolan community who stood out in various areas of activity and in favor of community development were awarded with diplomas of merit, culminating in a tasting of typical Angolan cuisine and brightened up with local music, played by national DJs.
