The Temporary Operator of Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto carried out, on Thursday night, the 1st passenger flight transfer test for the flag company TAAG.
According to a press release, the test is part of the opening plan, scheduled for the next few days, for passengers at Dr. Antônio Agostinho Neto.
The operation involved 222 “fictitious” travelers, as well as employees, technicians from various areas and institutions providing services at the airport.
The document also explains that this "necessary and recommended" test for infrastructures with the complexity and stage at which the AIAAN finds itself, in addition to others, verified the simultaneity of schedules in the boarding and disembarking operations of four flights, the readiness of handling, catering and fuel services, as well as readiness to respond to a canceled flight”.
The plan also includes a test close to the reality of TAAG operations on November 10th this year, using a Dash 8-400 aircraft.
According to the statement, the objective is to assess the functioning and degree of readiness of essential areas and equipment, as well as the coordination and response capacity of the teams and resources provided for in the emergency plan of the areas affected by the test.
