Through Provision 12021 the National Electricity Generation Directorate of the National Energy Secretariat updated the technical specifications of the Efficient Lighting Plan PLAE for the replacement of inefficient public lighting equipment in provinces and municipalities of throughout the country for LED technology luminaires in accordance with technological advances and existing standards of efficiency quality and safety.In this way the intervention of the sections on National Route No. 3 was carried out at the entrances to Baha Blanca through Avenida Coln Calle Pedro Pico and at the accesses to Benito Jurez Gonzales Chaves Coronel Dorrego and in Ruta Nacional No. 33 in the town of Tres Picos Tornquist and the intersection of Provincial Route No. 76. In total 324 artifacts were replaced. Replacement with LED technology can represent up to 50 energy savings over current consumption and in turn adjust lighting levels on public roads in accordance with current road safety regulations.
