President Alberto Fernandez met today at Casa Rosada with the governor of Santa Fe Omar Perotti in the framework of the signing of a cooperation agreement on security. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of National Security Sabina Frederic the Minister of the Interior Eduardo de Pedro and the Minister of Security of Santa Fe Marcelo San.The Nation and Santa Fe agreed to constitute the Provincial Complementation Council for Homeland Security of which the national and provincial Security ministries will be part.The Council will also integrate the authorities of the Santa Fe and Rosario Delegations of the Federal Police the Airport Security Police the Naval Prefecture the National Gendarmerie the Police of the province of Santa Fe and the General Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Agency.The Council will have the objective of complementing and perfecting actions in matters of preventive safety criminal investigation road safety and civil protection in the province.For this a constant exchange of information will be maintained the specific situations that merit it will be monitored and joint operations will be carried out among other actions.One of the missions of the Council will be to make a diagnosis of the security situation in Santa Fe and develop a Joint Work Plan which will be evaluated every three months.
