The United States exported 56 billion cubic meters of LNG to the EU countries in 2022 which accounted for 40 of all deliveries of this type of fuel to Europe. This was announced on Tuesday by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken speaking after a meeting with the head of the EU foreign service Josep Borrell.In 2022 the US exported 56 billion cubic meters of LNG to Europe. This is 40 of all European imports said Blinken. He added that US energy supplies to Europe have increased by 140 compared to 2021.According to Blinken relations between the US and the EU have never been stronger than they are now.Blinken and Borrell are taking part in a meeting of the EU-US Energy Council which is taking place in Brussels TASS recalled . One of the main topics of the talks is the supply of American LNG to Europe including the issues of collective gas purchases.
