The State Fund "Agriculture" (DFZ) transferred BGN 2.4 million (BGN 2,405,873) under the scheme for young farmers (MZS). The financial assistance has been distributed among 3,202 farmers who have declared areas under the Single Area Payment Scheme (SEPP) in the application for support for Campaign 2022 and have noted participation under the Ministry of Agriculture.
The implementation of the scheme for young farmers, as part of direct payments, started from Campaign 2015. Eligible applicants are farmers who, at the time of the first application, had not reached the age of 40.
Compensatory support is granted for the first 30 ha eligible under the SEPP. The subsidy under the scheme represents an additional allowance, which is equal to 50% of the support per hectare under the SEPP.
The payment of the funds under the scheme for small farmers (SFA) for Campaign 2022 is due by June 20.
