Concession contracts should be strictly enforced by the parties to them including the state. This was stated today by the Minister of Transport and Communications Nikolay Sabev in response to a parliamentary question about the concession of Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport.The Minister of Transport informed that the concessionaire of the airport consortium Gorna Oryahovitsa Civil Airport has notified the Ministry of the intention of a Swiss company to acquire the concession and has requested approval. According to the concession contract such a change cannot be made without the consent of the state.The Minister pointed out that the one who has concluded the contract should fulfill the commitments made to the state and will not allow the transfer of the concession to other persons.
