📄 Tender ID: 534054869 📅 Published: 13 Jun 2026

📋 Tender Overview

The execution reaches 57% of the investment commitments foreseen in the concession contracts and has made it possible to modernize strategic terminals for Peruvian foreign trade. The concession ports supervised by the Supervisory Body for Investment in Transport Infrastructure for Public Use (Ositran) accumulated executed investments of USD 2,376 million at the end of April 2026, equivalent to 57% of the reference amount of the investments planned in the concession contracts, the amount of which amounts to USD 4,167 million.

These investments have allowed us to expand port infrastructure, incorporate state-of-the-art equipment and strengthen the countrys logistics capacity.

Among the terminals with the highest levels of execution, the Callao Mineral Concentrate Shipping Terminal stands out, which reached 100% execution of its committed investments; the New Container Terminal of Callao-Zona Sur, with 99%; and the Paita Port Terminal, with 94%. Likewise, investments continue to be made in other strategic terminals under the supervision of Ositran.

The investments made have allowed the construction of more than 4 kilometers of new docks, as well as the incorporation of 18 dock gantry cranes, 58 yard cranes and 13 mobile cranes, in addition to warehouses, silos, container yards, cargo transportation systems and various specialized equipment that contribute to increasing the efficiency of port operations.

Currently, Ositran supervises the execution of new investments in five port terminals in the country. So far in 2026 alone, the works underway represent estimated investments of more than USD 6.5 million, aimed at expanding operational capacity, optimizing logistics processes and improving the services provided to users.

The modernization of port infrastructure has contributed to the sustained growth of national port activity. During 2025, the concessioned terminals moved more than 65 million tons of cargo, reaching a historical record for the third consecutive year. Likewise, container movement exceeded 3.8 million TEUs, consolidating the role of concessioned ports as fundamental platforms for foreign trade and the countrys competitiveness.

Ositran supervises the works carried out by port concessionaires, which contribute to increasing the supply of infrastructure and equipment, which strengthens the capacity to provide port services and increases the quality of said provision, contributing to the competitiveness of the concessioned port terminals.
