📋 Tender Overview
The Ministry of Transportation and Communications, through Provias Nacional, began the installation phase of the Talancato II modular bridge, located at km 390+700 of the national route Quillabamba - Dv. Echarati - Kepashiato (PE-28B), in the town center of Palma Real, province of La Convencion, department of Cusco.
The intervention includes the installation of a 57.91 meter long modular bridge, which will improve traffic conditions and reinforce the safety of users traveling along this important national road in the Vraem.
As part of the process, Provias Nacional began the service with an initial phase to prepare the Execution Plan and, subsequently, the corresponding environmental instrument (FITSA), approved in June of this year. After completing this first phase, the field work, assembly and installation stage of the bridge begins.
For the execution of this service, there is an investment of S/ 1.54 million. To date, the contractor has been developing preliminary activities for the installation of the infrastructure, the completion of which is scheduled for September 2026.
With this intervention, Provias Nacional reaffirms its commitment to continue executing works that improve connectivity and contribute to the economic and social development of the populations of the Cusco region.
