China is an important partner with the potential to expand our cooperation in a number of industrial sectors.This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Krasimir Yakimov during the Annual Meeting of the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber for Industrial Development 2026, which was held under the motto Partnership in Motion.He emphasized that Bulgaria has the ambition to be not just a point on the map of the European market, but a place where investors develop production, technologies and long-term initiatives.We want more investments in Bulgaria, more joint productions and higher added value for Bulgarian business, said the deputy minister.According to him, Bulgaria has an established industrial base, qualified specialists and companies with experience in international production and partnership.The goal is to attract investments that upgrade existing industries, create sustainable jobs and develop local suppliers.The Deputy Minister also emphasized the role of the state in creating more favorable conditions for investors, We are working for a more predictable and efficient environment for investors, for better coordination between institutions and for removing the administrative burden for business. We are working for investors to receive clear answers and concrete solutions, and for the state to be their natural partner, he emphasized.Yakimov highlighted the importance of the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Industrial Development as a partner in the identification of specific investment opportunities and the development of joint industrial projects.
