π Tender Overview
Obstetricians-gynecologists removed large fibroids from the uterine cavity, which did not allow the patient to become a mother.
A myomatous node with a diameter of up to 9 centimeters was removed using the laparoscopic method: instruments and a small camera were inserted through minimal incisions in the abdominal cavity, and a picture of what was happening was displayed on a special screen in the operating room.Removal took about two hours, since the tumor had an atypical location.
Despite the difficulties, the operation was successful, and the same evening the patient was able to move independently.
Doctors note that fibroids interfered with reproductive functions and prevented previous pregnancies from developing. Now the patient will have a year of rehabilitation, after which the woman will be able to conceive and carry a child.
