๐ Tender Overview
Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna Said Today, May 26, When He Met Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte At The Nato Headquarters In Brussels, That The Last Year Has Presented A Number Of Challenges To The Alliance, But At The Same Time Proved That Nato Works Effectively. The Foreign Minister Noted That Both The Allies United And Clear Response To The Violation Of Estonian Airspace By Russian Fighter Jets Last September, As Well As The Incident Of The Drone Shot Down Over Estonia Last Week, Prove That Nato Is Working. NatoS Allies Have Remained United In A Difficult Security Situation, And The Defense Of The Allies Territory Has Worked Exactly As Planned. Nato Is Working And Our Common Security Is Guaranteed, Said Tsahkna. We Must Continue To Work To Ensure That The Deterrence And Defense Posture Is Strengthened And That The Alliance Is Able To Resist All Threats In The Future As Well. Discussing The Nato Ankara Summit In Early July, Tsahkna Noted That European Allies Are Investing More And More In Defense And Are Taking On An Ever-Increasing Role In Ensuring The Security Of The Continent, NatoS Defense Capability And Credible Deterrence. At The Summit, It Is Important To See The Movement Of The Allies Towards Defense Spending Of 5% Of Gdp, As Well As For The Growing Investments To Be Reflected In Real Defense Capabilities And An Increase In The Production Volume Of The Defense Industry, Said Tsahkna. Discussing The Possible Movement Of Us Forces In Europe, Tsahkna Emphasized That It Must Be Coordinated With The Allies And It Is Important That A Strong Deterrence Is Maintained, Primarily On The Eastern Flank Of The Alliance.
