Infrastructure will benefit the populations of the provinces of Satipo and Atalaya, improving walkability and access to basic services.The Ministry of Transportation and Communications, through Provias Nacional, completed the installation of three modular bridges on the national route PE-5SA, between km 99 to 144 of the Puerto Ocopa - Atalaya section, an intervention that will contribute to improving connectivity and guaranteeing safer circulation for thousands of citizens of the Junin and Ucayali regions.
The intervention included the installation of the Ivotzote, Maniti and Garzacocha bridges, each with a length of 30.48 meters and a roadway 4.20 meters wide, located between the districts of Rio Tambo (province of Satipo, Junin) and Raimondi (province of Atalaya, Ucayali), the main axis of exchange and articulation in the central jungle.
With the commissioning of these bridges, traffic conditions on this route are improved, facilitating the transportation of agricultural, forestry and agricultural production; reducing travel times and strengthening the populations access to essential services, promoting the economic and social development of surrounding towns.
With these actions, Provias Nacional reaffirms its commitment to continue executing projects and services that strengthen the countrys road infrastructure and improve the quality of life of citizens.
