This prestigious new office will ensure that Invest NI is more visible accessible and embedded in the local community. I look forward to the office officially opening in the New Year and to using the office as a base to meet both local businesses and inward investors. Invest NI has had a base in DerryLondonderry at Timber Quay since 2006. Following the purchase of Timber Quay by Ulster University the agency has been looking for a new office location. The new office at Ebrington Plaza is a 10-year lease.Kieran Donoghue CEO Invest NI said: Stimulating further economic development in the North West and across Northern Ireland is a key priority for Invest NI. The office will provide a welcoming and accessible space for businesses to meet with our teams. The office will also create a very positive first impression for new international investors when we bring them to the area to consider the North West for potential investment. It is my hope that the office will be viewed as a representation of our commitment to regional balance. The new office totalling 299sqm / 3220 ft2 will include a dedicated reception area with seating and desks for informal meetings four meeting rooms a 22-seat Boardroom and a separate 20-desk Invest NI office space.Aeidin McCarter Head of Regional Business for the North West Invest NI said: The new office will be a modern progressive and welcoming space for our clients entrepreneurs partner organisations and potential investors.
