πŸ“‹ Tender Overview

At a meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the National Geological Service (NG) Erlan Galiyev presented key initiatives to digitize industry information. National geological activity is an authorized national operator appointed by the state in the field of geological information in accordance with the Code of Subsoil, the main reliable provider of geological and geophysical data. The geological fund was founded in 1930.At present, the national geological service is financed by government and external revenues. The subsoil user (investor) wants to see the full painting of the studied section of the study site. For this reason, all available primary geological information is being scanned and digitization is underway. These digitized information will be posted on a single subsoil use platform, the head of the national geological service said. According to him, the total number of initial geological information in geological resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 4 579 342. Information is stored in the form of paper materials, magnetic tape, cartridge. From 2023 to the present, about 40% of the initial geological information is scanned and digited.

The main task is to replace the data into the machine. This will consist of information and we can further standardize. It is planned to speed up data processing and create a BIG DATA base using artificial intelligence (s) in this direction, Erlan Galiyev said. As a result, the process of working with complex data is automated and advanced algorithms are used in their reading.Accordingly, the system can analyze mineral deposits and give forecasts. This makes it more effective to work with geological information. For this purpose, the national geological service is participating in the program Government ACCLY based on the experience of the United Arab Emirates. The 100-day project is aimed at implementing important initiatives at a limited number of restrictions. As part of acceleration, the issues arising during digitization will be identified and resolved, the speaker explained. The following technical measures are being implemented under the project: - Digitalization of data in the archive with the help of OCR and artificial intelligence; - digitization of graphics for car readings; - combine data and create a BIG DATA; - introduction of a specialized artificial intelligence for data analysis.

The project uses the experience of leading countries such as Canada, Australia and the United States. These countries have introduced artificial intelligence technologies to digitize and analyze geological data. The Kazakh version develops interactive maps, vectoring graphic materials, provides computational power and teaches specialists to work with new technologies. In general, the amount of data to be processed is 2-3 petabytes, which should be taken into account that this requires a significant resource. Geology plays an important role in the study and effective use of subsoil study and its efficient use as one of the main sciences. In one of the tasks set by a joint-stock company in the scientific direction, there is a formation of a digital geological map of Kazakhstan, creating a reference base of Kazakhstan, to combine templates and standards in the field of geology. Some of these measures are planned to implement the British geological service in the first quarter of 2025.We will also start developing the Mineragenic Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the scientific and academic community of the country. This will allow to determine different groups of fields, become a scientific basis for the assumption of their spread. We would also like to emphasize the importance of emphasizing the development of geodynamic and palinskis cards, said Erlan Galiyev, the chairman of the national geological service. Since its inception in 2022, the national geological service has signed 15 cooperation agreements with foreign geological services and major international companies.

As part of cooperation with American geological services (USGS): In 2025, the team of foreign geological services (USA, France, Germany, Finland) plans to carry out recruits (audits) to the national geological service. Also, 3-sided MOU-was developed by the National Company Tau-Ken Samruk with the National Company Tau-Ken Samruk in the Aral Sea region and a 3-sided geochemical search for rare metals in the Aral Sea region. The project is funded by the American side. With the British Geological Service (BGS): A project covering several missions to Kazakhstan. In addition, it is planned to carry out a project on the reference base of the imagery. With France with the Buyological and Mining Bureau of France: remote sensing of land in 2025, geochemistry, forecasting, waste production, etc.p. Bilateral seminars will be held in the industry. With GTK (Finland, MOU at PDAC 2024): emphasis will be placed on strengthening and developing databases and GIS (geoinformation systems). The Finns are known as one of the best experts in this area in the world. In addition, according to the National Geological Survey, the NGS is organizing the international forum Meet Kazakhstan: The Power of Geology in the Ninth Largest Nation at the PDAC-2025 site in Canada. The purpose of this event is to present the investment potential of Kazakhstan, the countrys policy in the development of the mining and metallurgical complex. In general, the policy for the development of the geological sector for 2024-2029 is aimed at maintaining continuity in the history of development, solving institutional, scientific-informational and organizational issues on the basis of the National Geological Survey. At the same time, it will attract private investment in geological exploration, revitalize activities in the industry, improve the qualifications of specialists and develop scientific experience.
