📋 Tender Overview
The construction of the new N3 (N40) is undoubtedly one of the most important and demanding projects in recent years. It is an essential link in the development of mobility in the south-west of the capital as well as the National Mobility Plan 2035 and is part of a series of transport infrastructure projects aimed at sustainable mobility by 2035.
As part of the implementation of this large-scale project, a technical review was carried out. In particular, the reader can find interesting information on the works (technical, environmental and economic aspects), extraordinary projects directly related to the N3 (e.g. Büchler Bridge, Y Bridge, Rangwee II tunnel, Howald and Cloche d'Or interchange hubs) as well as interviews with the main stakeholders.
The technical journal "The new N3 in the context of the south-west urban development of Luxembourg" is available free of charge from the Directorate of the Administration des ponts et chaussées (38, boulevard de la Foire, L-1528 Luxembourg).
