The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mutsunski, is on a working visit to Prague, Czech Republic. Within the framework of the visit, together with the Minister of Energy, Sanja BoΕΎinovska, he had a meeting with the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Lukas Vlcek, and after the meeting they had their address at the Macedonian-Czech Business Forum.
The meeting with Minister Vlcek focused on the excellent economic cooperation and the interest in its further promotion. At the same time, the importance of the previous meetings of the Joint Committee following the Agreement on Economic and Industrial Cooperation between the two countries was emphasized, as well as the exchange of opinions on specific initiatives and activities that will contribute to the strengthening of economic ties.
Within the framework of the Macedonian-Czech business forum, Ministers Mutsunski and BoΕΎinovska, together with Czech Minister Vlcek, presented the opportunities for investment in the two countries.
The initiatives of the Macedonian government to improve the business climate, attract foreign investments and encourage exports were presented. In addition, the opportunities for economic cooperation and investment projects were highlighted in order to make the country the next destination for foreign direct investments, which will contribute to a strengthened economic partnership between the two countries.
