On February 3, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the further development of Turkmen-Emirati relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic fields.
The head of the foreign policy office of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of the current World Government Summit aimed at making a significant contribution to the development of cooperation between states.
The diplomats noted that the cooperation between the foreign policy agencies of Turkmenistan and the UAE is effective. Cooperation between the two countries based on mutual support was also emphasized within the framework of international and regional organizations.
In addition, the parties discussed the activities planned to be held this year within the scope of expanding bilateral political relations.
