On February 4, 2026, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mehri Byasimova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation and future directions of development.
Also, special attention was paid to issues of cooperation within international organizations, including the importance of the experience of mutually supporting the initiatives and candidacies of the two countries in multilateral arenas.
