Moldova Republic Bypass Tender

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has participated in an event of making available for use of the bypass road of the southern Comrat city. The works of construction of the road segment of 18.3 km lasted more than 3 years and implied an investment worth 29.5 million euros borrowed by the cabinet from the European Investment Bank. Natalia Gavrilita appreciated the effort made by all those who had worked on this project central local authorities implementing companies. The PM said that despite the hindrances triggered by the pandemic and then by the war the construction of the bypass road had been finished in due time. I am happy that starting from today due to this bypass road designed and made according to all European norms the flow of transport which has crossed the Comrat city so far will be eased. This means also an easing of the transport to southern region of the country as well as time saved for drivers. We want very much for all roads of Moldova to look like this one in a good state. Just today we launched the Authorized Economic Operators AEO project and with authorized regime and better roads we will boost the economy of the southern region and the entire country. We work intensely along with our development partners for our highways to be rehabilitated at a high level of quality and in reasonable terms the prime minister said. The works of construction of the road segment were finished back in last August and so far the thermoplast road marking a novelty for Moldova have been set the street illumination the metal and concrete parapets were set and the competent institutions made the necessary verifications. The bypass road of the Comrat city is part of a larger project on the rehabilitation of the M3 road to Giurgiulesti.
