During the Government meeting yesterday April 29 2021 the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft Government Decision for the approval of the Regulation on job subsidies. The purpose of the Regulation is to mitigate the economic damage caused by the exceptional situation resulting from infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus with the primary objectives of- supporting the national economy and supporting the business environment as a result of the inclusion of the human factor in economic processes- supporting the labor market by increasing the number of people employed reducing the pace of emigration processes- supporting people with disabilities in terms of stimulating their employment.The proposed mechanism provides for the support of legal persons and natural persons engaged in entrepreneurial activity non-profit organizations persons engaged in professional activity in the part aimed at subsidizing the expenses related to the payment of salary in case of employment- persons who have not had salary income in the last 12 months. The target in this case is young people the diaspora and people who lost their jobs during the state of emergency in 2020- people with disabilities.The amount of the subsidy will be determined depending on the category of the employed person the degree of disability and the type of enterprise in which they are employed varying in monthly percentage between 50 and 230 of the amount of salary taxes or fixed amount between 1000 lei and 6000 lei per employee see table below.The grant application is made by submitting the set of documents consisting of- the application for the subsidy for employment according to the models set out in the Annexes to the Regulation- copies of accounting documents- copies of payment documents in case of submitting the application within up to 5 working days from the date of payment to the budget- copy of the certificate of classification in the degree of disability in case of employment of persons with disabilities at the General Directorate of Fiscal Administration at the taxpayers place of service General Directorate of Fiscal Administration post-operational fiscal control or at the General Directorate of Large Taxpayers Administration of the Fiscal Service of the State as the case may be. Following the submission of the mentioned set of documents the fiscal administration authority jointly with the Ministry of Finance State Treasury Directorate will ensure the subsidy within 21 working days from the date of registration of the application submission.On this occasion the Ministry of Finance urges and encourages enterprises non-profit organizations and professionals to be part of this mechanism and to benefit from the support proposed in the light of that Regulation.
