The Minister of Finance Mr. Serghei Pusccua met with the World Bank team led by the country manager Mrs. Anna Akhalkatsi. The event took place today November 27 the current day. The topics addressed at the meeting were the latest developments in the social-political life the projects to be launched as well as the ways to reduce the budget deficit.At the beginning of the meeting the Minister of Finance announced about the approval at the Government meeting yesterday of several important projects such as the state budget for 2020 fiscal and customs policy but also amendments to the Law on the unitary system of pay in the budgetary sector There are very important laws and it results from the Government Program assumed in front of the citizens. Also Mr. Serghei Pusccua mentioned that the Ministry of Finance wants to collaborate with all external partners and international financial institutions to implement projects aimed at ensuring the welfare of the population of the Republic of Moldova.For his part the World Bank country manager said that collaboration with the Ministry of Finance is very important. Also Ms Anna Akhalkatsi pointed out that the priorities of the Ministry of Finance are of great interest to the World Bank team and will provide the necessary assistance for their successful implementation.
