March 9, 2026, Chisinau - Wines from the Republic of Moldova won 119 medals in the spring edition of the MUNDUS VINI international competition, held in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany.
This years tally includes a Grand Gold medal, the highest award offered in the competition, 75 gold medals and 43 silver medals. The results were obtained with the participation of 33 wineries from the Republic of Moldova, supported by the National Vine and Wine Office.
Participation in this competition contributes to strengthening the visibility of Moldovan wines on foreign markets and increasing the international recognition of their quality. The distinctions obtained confirm the constant efforts of manufacturers to invest in quality, identity and competitiveness.
Organized by Meininger Verlag, MUNDUS VINI is one of the most prestigious international wine competitions, bringing together thousands of samples evaluated blindly by a jury of oenologists, sommeliers, traders and specialist journalists from several countries.
