The Prime Minister of Mongolia and Chairman of the Mongolian Peoples Party L.Oyun-Erdene who is visiting China met with Xi Jinping President of the Peoples Republic of China and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee on February 6 2022. The two sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues including taking the strategic partnership to a new level developing it into a globally recognized model intensifying development projects and programs between the two governments coordinating policy documents and strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation. The two sides agreed to take the Mongolia-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to a new level. At the beginning of the meeting Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene congratulated the Government and people of China on hosting the XXIV Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on time. He also thanked the Government of the Peoples Republic of China for its prompt delivery of vaccines to Mongolia during the difficult times of the pandemic.He noted that Mongolias Vision 2050 long-term development policy and the Mongolian governments Revival Policy are in line with Chinas development policies such as the Global Development Initiative and the Regions and Roads initiative. During the visit the Prime Ministers of the two countries called for special attention to be paid to major railway projects such as the construction of the Gashuunsukhait-Gants Mod railway and the Altanbulag-Zamiin-Uud highway.The President of the Peoples Republic of China Xi Jinping expressed his full support for the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing Mongolia thanked Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene for his personal visit to the country and congratulated the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh. He expressed confidence that the projects and programs proposed by the new Government of Mongolia will become a reality and expressed his support and cooperation in all aspects. He said that Mongolia and China are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and water and important countries in the region are neighbors. He stressed that the protection strengthening and development of bilateral relations are in the long-term and fundamental interests of both countries.
