267 units of modern medical equipment were installed in the operating units, intensive care and anesthesiology departments of the regional perinatal center and the regional childrens clinical hospital under the Family national project, initiated by the President of Russia.
This is the first time such a large-scale modernization has occurred in medical organizations.Previously, equipment was replaced only due to device failure.
Closed intensive care incubators have appeared in the neonatal intensive care unit.They automatically maintain the set temperature and humidity, and indicators, including the childs weight, are displayed on the screen.The design provides access to the baby from four sides, which allows minimizing the impact during manipulations.The incubators are equipped with phototherapy - it is used in children with elevated bilirubin, including hemolytic disease of the newborn, when the Rh factor of the mother and child does not match.
Warming mattresses with adjustable heat have appeared in intensive care units - they help maintain a safe body temperature for a newborn patient.

For more accurate diagnostics, we purchased digital mobile x-rays.Unlike old equipment, it produces high-quality images and almost instantly transfers the image to a specialist.The electronic image can be enlarged for a detailed study of pathologies.
It has also become more convenient in the delivery rooms: new beds were purchased for patients that allow them to take any position, including vertical births.
The Childrens Regional Clinical Hospital put into operation equipment for determining the acid-base state of the blood.Previously, doctors had to wait for test results from the laboratory, wasting precious minutes.

New ultrasound machines were also purchased for faster diagnostics.Portable models are lightweight and work autonomously for up to three hours - this is convenient for express research.Stationary devices provide better visualization.The program allows you to adjust the scanning angle to take measurements even with a non-standard position of the child.
Today, the hospital has a modern anesthesia and respiratory apparatus, which is suitable for patients of different ages, from one-year-old babies to adults.
Thanks to new equipment, medical care, including high-tech care, has become more accessible.Waiting times for patients are reduced, the volume of care provided increases, and doctors are able to make accurate diagnoses and select treatment more effectively.
