Ways to enhance cooperation in the agricultural and fisheries fields were the focus of the talks held Thursday in Rabat by the Minister of Agriculture Fisheries Rural Development Water and Forests Mohamed Seddiqi and the Ugandan Minister of Finance Mattia Kasaiga.During this meeting the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the agricultural sector especially the aspects related to innovation and the exchange of experiences at the level of this promising sector.In a statement to MAP after this meeting Mr. Seddiqi stressed the importance of giving a new impetus to bilateral relations between the two countries explaining that this meeting discussed various issues of common interest especially those related to agriculture fishing and forestry.He added that it is also about examining the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in new areas highlighting in this context the dynamism that the Kingdom is experiencing in the field of strengthening south-south cooperation under the luminous leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.After being reminded of the close relations between Morocco and the Republic of Uganda the Minister highlighted the huge potentials available to Morocco in the field of marine fishing referring in this regard to the strategy for this sector which Uganda can benefit from especially with regard to the field of rehabilitating its marine fishing sector. .
