As in 2020 care providers of district nursing geriatric rehabilitation care GRZ and primary care residence ELV will also receive financial compensation for 2021 through ZN schemes. In this way health insurers provide financial assistance to healthcare providers for the costs incurred during the corona pandemic.The scheme contains a component for additional costs and has a compensation scheme for loss of turnover ELVGRZ. The scheme also provides appropriate compensation for major providers of district nursing which suffered losses in 2021 due to covid-related loss of turnover.Health insurers appreciate the efforts of the health care providers. Despite the often difficult circumstances healthcare workers continued to make every effort to ensure that patients and clients received good and sufficient care.Elaboration of the schemeThe 2021 scheme had already been established in broad terms in consultation with sector organizations ActiZ and Zorgthuisnl. In recent months the reimbursement percentages have been worked out on the basis of research and national data. They are listed in a letter on the website of Zorgverzekeraars Nederland. In the coming period ZN and ActiZ will further elaborate the arrangements with regard to implementation.
