📋 Tender Overview
On November 5, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov met with Veronika Garcia Del Arco, director of the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Department of the German development bank KfW and Petar Georgiyev, director of the Central Asia regional office of this bank in Tashkent. During the meeting, the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the professional education system and future priorities were discussed. The parties reviewed the implementation process of the Improving the Vocational Education System project.
Within the framework of this project, it is planned to establish model vocational training institutions - advanced vocational training centers in 8 regions of the republic. The goal of the project is to strengthen the material and technical base of educational institutions, to introduce the German experience to the educational process, and to strengthen cooperation with employers. The meeting also discussed the concept of the Professional Education Support (Phase 3) project.
During the implementation of these projects, the specialists of the ministry work in close cooperation with the KfW bank and project consultants. At the same time, it is important that the qualifications of future personnel meet international standards and be recognized in the foreign labor market.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of existing cooperation projects and advance joint initiatives in new directions.
