Talent and creativity stood out during 2024. During this period, Indecopi, through the Copyright Directorate (DDA), registered 3,185 works, marking a growth of 9.30% compared to the previous year, when 2,914 creations were registered. This achievement reaffirms the institutions commitment to the promotion and protection of copyright in the country.
Among the most notable categories, literary works ranked first with 1,627 registrations, consolidating themselves as the most protected form of creation. They were followed by computer programs (software), with 957 registrations, reflecting the growing importance of technological innovation. Artistic works (282 registrations) and phonograms (259 registrations) also stood out, evidencing the diversity of creative talent in the country.
These figures highlight not only the dynamism of the creators, but also the constant effort of Indecopi to ensure that copyright is recognized and protected.
