π Tender Overview
180 dining rooms and 125 community kitchens in the aforementioned district will receive culinary equipment from Midis and Produce. We improve the conditions of those who need it most. The Government, through the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) and the Ministry of Production (Produce), is distributing kitchen kits and utensils for soup kitchens and common pots in Metropolitan Lima and Callao.
In this regard, Ministers Julio Demartini and Sergio Gonzalez delivered 305 kits for 180 soup kitchens and 125 common pots in the Carabayllo district, which will allow those in charge to benefit their more than 23 thousand users with the renovated and modern culinary equipment, made up of 27 implements such as a three-burner stove, stainless steel shelves, frying pans, pots, saucepans, aluminum pots, cutlery sets, among other objects.
The authorities have the firm will to work for you, together for Peru. We may have differences, but we must unite based on our similarities and support those who need it most said Minister Julio Demartini during the delivery ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of Production, Sergio Gonzalez; the district mayor of Carabayllo, Pablo Mendoza and the general director of Design and Articulation of Social Benefits of the Midis, Edith Bautista; among others.
Later, the authorities visited the Santa Rosa de Lima dining room, where the facilities and the service provided to the beneficiaries were verified. It should be noted that one of the criteria established for the distribution of these kitchen and utensil kits is that both the dining rooms and the common pots are recognized with a resolution as a grassroots social organization and that they have a current board of directors.
