In order to prevent the supply of regulated goods in violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements and EAEU standards, Rosselkhoznadzor introduced a regime of enhanced laboratory control for the supply of cheese by Unagrande Company JSC (Bryansk region) to 14 importing countries.
The decision was made based on an analysis of the requirements of the states and in connection with the identification by the competent department of one of the countries belonging to the EAEU, during state food monitoring, of counterfeit products, in particular, discrepancies in the fatty acid composition of the Ricotta cheese produced by this company.
In August 2023, an enhanced laboratory control regime was already introduced for the goods of Unagrande Company JSC due to the detection of natamycin in cheese.
Currently, Rosselkhoznadzor is conducting an investigation and establishing the reasons that led to the production of products by the specified enterprise that do not meet the requirements of the EAEU.
