As early as this coming fall, Russia may introduce a fee for private enterprises for using foreign software, said the head of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
According to him, the corresponding bill will be submitted to the State Duma in September.
“This will not apply to small and medium-sized businesses and budgetary organizations,” the minister explained.
