Salvador New Ambassador Tender

On January 8 2023 Zhang Yanhui the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of El Salvador arrived in El Salvador to assume his new post. Diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in Samoa Deputy Director of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Samoa Gonzalez and representatives of Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese in Samoa went to the airport to greet them.Upon arriving in El Salvador Ambassador Zhang delivered a speech to all walks of life in El Salvador. Ambassador Zhang pointed out that since China and Samoa established diplomatic relations in 2018 under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries bilateral relations have continued to develop in depth. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China announced that China will continue to promote high-level opening up which will bring new opportunities to countries around the world including Zaza. This year China and El Salvador will celebrate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. As the ambassador to El Salvador at this time I deeply feel the honor of the mission and the great responsibility. I will keep my responsibilities in mind work diligently strengthen contacts and exchanges with the Samoa government and friends from all walks of life implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and make unremitting efforts to further deepen China-Samoa relations.
