March 9, 2026, Chisinau - During the period March 2-6, 2026, the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture authorized the payment of subsidies in the amount of 45.12 million lei from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and the Rural Environment.
Of the total amount, 33.99 million lei were authorized for 38 requests submitted under the post-investment payment form. Of these, 15.34 million lei were approved for investments in livestock holdings, 7.47 million lei for investments in the production, processing or marketing infrastructure of the vegetable sector, and 5.25 million lei for investments in irrigation systems and equipment.
Another 8.32 million lei were authorized for the advance payment of the first installment related to a number of 12 investment projects in the field of modernization of livestock holdings.
At the same time, 2.81 million lei were authorized for subsidizing insurance premiums in agriculture, as part of the form of complementary payment.
