President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work of training young people in modern professions and foreign languages at technical school No. 1 in Kuva district.
Today, the competitiveness of countries is determined not only by natural resources, but also by human capital, knowledge and the potential of modern professionals. Therefore, special attention is paid to the reform of the professional education system in Uzbekistan, especially to the transformation of regional technical schools into centers of practical knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The activity of the technical school in Kuva district is also a practical expression of these reforms.
Centers for training in modern professions and support for start-ups have been established in the Technikum building.
In cooperation with foreign educational institutions, along with teaching German and Chinese languages, personnel are trained in such modern areas as logistics, drone control in agriculture, smart irrigation, installation and repair of solar panels.
A dual education system has been introduced, and 550 students are receiving theoretical knowledge in direct connection with practice.
The Startup Center is important in supporting the entrepreneurial initiatives of young people. Training courses are also organized here in areas with high demand such as robotics, SMM, mobilography, and design.
200 new jobs will be created within the project. It is planned to implement this experience in 10 more agricultural technical schools in the republic.
The President talked to the young people who are learning a profession, wished them success in their studies and future activities.
