On December 21 2021 Ambassador Xiao Jianguo to East Timor met with the new secretary-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Sepeda and the two sides exchanged views on Middle East relations and strengthening cooperation in multilateral fields.Ambassador Xiao said that the Middle East is a traditional friendly country and the two sides have always looked after each other. In recent years the two countries in the Middle East have carried out good cooperation in fighting the epidemic disaster relief and developing peoples livelihood. China is willing to continue to support the Oriental anti-epidemic and economic recovery and expects that the two sides will strengthen coordination and cooperation in multilateral areas to promote the continuous development of bilateral relations.Serbia thanked China for providing relief assistance and development support to the East saying that he himself looks forward to strengthening communication with the embassy strengthening coordination in bilateral and multilateral fields and promoting greater development of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
