Trinidad Tobago Minister Tender

Minister of National Security the Honourable Stuart R. Young M.P. hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of Finland to the Caribbean His Excellency Jukka Pietikainen.Minister Young led discussions which focused on establishing bilateral cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and Finland.Discussions surrounding Trinidad and Tobagos obligations to Global Forum and the OECD took place as well as discussions on renewable energy and security matters in Trinidad and Tobago.H.E. Pietikinen said Finland was honored to establish stronger linkages with Trinidad and Tobago and he pledged his countrys support via Finlands Organisation for Economic Co-operation.Both parties agreed to continue discussions with a view to formalizing an arrangement that would see Trinidad and Tobago and Finland sharing security public safety and economic opportunities.
