On February 4, 2026, in the city of Abu Dhabi, a meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic and trade and economic fields were discussed.
The parties paid special attention to the issues of intensifying work on the implementation of joint large-scale projects, in particular in the energy and transport and logistics sectors.
In this context, the expediency of preparing an Economic Cooperation Program between Turkmenistan and the UAE was emphasized.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on a number of topics on the regional and international agenda.
