Uruguay Asse Delivered Tender

The Mercedes and Dolores hospitals in Soriano received this Thursday the 16th specialized ambulances fully equipped by the State Health Services Administration ASSE. These vehicles are added to the more than 150 units incorporated into the agencys fleet during this administration.The ambulances were delivered within the framework of a visit by the ASSE authorities to the hospitals of Mercedes and Dolores in which the president of the public provider Leonardo Cipriani and the mayor of Soriano Guillermo Besozzi among other hierarchs of the health and departmentalIn Mercedes Cipriani recalled that a year ago a specialized ambulance was provided to that center. He added that now a new zero kilometer vehicle has been added equipped for all services and that an intensive care center CTI will be inaugurated in May. In addition he indicated that in Soriano all the ambulances of the Primary Care Network RAP were distributed and it is expected to integrate a common care. Since March 2020 ASSE has added more than 150 vehicles of this type to the fleet throughout the country.In the case of Dolores the transfer unit was provided by a family in the area and conditioned by the public provider to carry out specialized transfers. Regarding this donation Cipriani considered that the sense of solidarity and union that the local population has shown in the face of adverse events should be valued.The hierarch also highlighted the commitment of the President of the Republic Luis Lacalle Pou to improve the situation of the Dolores hospital. Likewise he highlighted that the support of the Executive Power in the Law of Accountability made it possible to have resources to carry out works in the surgical block and to materialize the reopening of the maternity hospital in which some 70 births have already occurred.
