Uruguay Ministry Social Tender

The Ministry of Social Development signed an agreement with the DIRECTV company for 25 nightclubs in Montevideo to have television service for subscribers. This benefit is part of the search for incentives that the ministry is carrying out for homeless people to go to shelters.This agreement with DIRECTV is one more tool to make the spaces available to homeless people attractive. The Ministry of Social Development continues in the permanent search for articulations with private and public organizations to generate tools and opportunities for the participants of its programs.For Minister Martn Lema every action adds up to improve conditions and encourage people who usually sleep outdoors to use our shelters this time the strengthening occurs with the creation of alternative recreational spaces.The agreement was signed today Friday July 30 it is free of charge without any counter-benefit in exchange and with the purpose of the DIRECTV company to collaborate with the programs of the Ministry of Social Development. It will last for one year with the option of being extended.
