President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation headed by The Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla bin Al Marriyah, who came to our country to participate in the third Tashkent International Investment Forum.
Earlier in the meeting, the minister conveyed to the head of our country a heartfelt greeting and best wishes from UAE President Sheikh Muhammad Ol Nahayon, Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Ol Maktum, Vice President Sheikh Mansur Ol Nahayon, and Abu Dhabi Governor Sheikh Holid Ol Nahayon.
Current issues of support and promotion of joint projects of trade and investment cooperation were considered.
It was noted with satisfaction that partnerships in priority sectors of the economy are growing rapidly. The volume of trade, joint ventures and direct flights are increasing. The portfolio of projects involving leading companies from the two countries reached $4 billion.
Special attention has been paid to accelerating large-scale projects in energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, water supply and other fields.
