Venezuela Ambassador Cong Tender

On February 9 2023 Ambassador Fu Cong Head of the Mission to the EU met with Ambassador Valero Valero Charge dAffaires of Venezuela to the EU at the Mission to the EU. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on China-Venezuela relations and issues of common concern.Ambassador Fu said that the friendship between China and Venezuela has a long history and the development of bilateral relations has fully demonstrated that China and Venezuela are good friends with mutual trust and good partners with mutual benefit and win-win results. China is willing to work with Venezuela to consolidate high-level mutual trust steadily advance practical cooperation and push China-Venezuela comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level. China has always supported the integration process of Latin America and the Caribbean attached great importance to developing relations with CELAC and is willing to work with Venezuela to continuously consolidate the unity of developing countries and promote South-South cooperation.Vanuatu congratulated Ambassador Fu on his assumption of office spoke highly of the traditional and profound friendship between Venezuela and China and appreciated Chinas firm support for Venezuela. He said that Venezuela and China share the same position and common interests on many important issues. We will continue to firmly support each other on issues and international affairs and continue to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.The two sides also exchanged views on China-EU relations and the situation in Latin America.
