The north summer cycle harvest plan began in the state of Portuguesa with the production of 70 thousand hectares of Chinese beans in the Villa Bruzual farm located in the municipality of Turn the governor of the entity reported this Wednesday Rafael Calles.During a satellite link transmitted by the Venezolana de Televisin VTV channel Calles informed the President of the Republic Nicols Maduro that in the Portuguese state more than 180 thousand hectares were planted of which 150 thousand are distributed among the Piritu Santa Rosala and Turn.The harvest of this item extends in the plains region with the sum of 11 thousand tons produced in the peasant settlement La Doncella located in the Anzotegui municipality Cojedes state. The governor Margaud Godoy said that the AgroCojedes company is producing this bean on 3500 hectares which will be incorporated into the food packages distributed by the Local Supply and Production Committees CLAP.The regional leader said that more than 836 producers from the field will be participating during the northern summer sowing cycle.In the eastern part of the country the general director of CorpoAnzotegui Jess Marcano announced the opening of the entitys second Agricultural Fair located in the Las Flores sector of the Manuel Ezequiel Bruzual municipality in the Clarines parish.Marcano explained that during 2021 the production of 175 hectares is expected in the eastern entity distributed between 115 thousand destined for cereals and 65 thousand for the legume area. In addition the director of CorpoAnzoategui added that the third agricultural fair will take place in the coming weeks in the city of Anaco.Regarding national production the Head of State and Government Nicols Maduro invited the youth to fall in love with the countryside and to commit to the land and the future of Venezuela to face the imperial blockades.
