The experience of waste management, mainly from the plastic sector, which was born in the parish of Choroní, located in the state of Aragua, by the company My Ven C.A. will be replicated in the national territory not only to promote recycling, but also to promote the circular economy model.
In charge of the structuring of the proposal that will be presented to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, will be the Minister of People's Power for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca; the governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio; and the president of My Ven, Oliver Lobo. Their task will be to set up a strategy to devise effective solutions for waste management, from a perspective of conservation and protection of the environment.
"Oliver Lobo coordinates with Josué Lorca, Minister of Ecosocialism, so that they can prepare a proposal and work on these same ideas (...) That in Aragua it is consolidated and multiplied in all the states of the country," instructed the Venezuelan president during the program Con Maduro +, broadcast through Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
The company My Ven, with 45 years in the Venezuelan market, manufactures sustainable products from recycled plastic. Specifically, thanks to an alliance with the Government of Aragua, desks for students of the entity are in the development phase.
"There are a lot of plastic waste pickers in the country and we need every governor to have that support in their state. The governor – Karina Carpio – didn't ask what we could do and, now, we have some desks," said My Ven representative Oliver Lobo.
In addition to the manufacture of desks, there are projects to develop sustainable roofs with a durability of 12 to 15 years and the capacity to withstand up to 87 degrees Celsius.
In parallel to recycling plastic, they also focus on anime to turn it into blender containers and sweeping broom bristles.
"It has all the support," emphasized the Head of State, who guided the head of Ecosocialism to guarantee the mechanisms that allow him to provide "special support, a push to all entrepreneurs who are in the area of recycling to be able to move forward."
