Mr. Bao asked, if from January 1, 2025 he changes to the title of Grade IV Physician, how will his salary be arranged?
Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:
Pursuant to the provisions of Joint Circular No. 10/2015/TTLT-BYT-BNV dated May 27, 2015 of the Minister of Health, the Minister of Home Affairs stipulates codes and standards for professional titles of doctors, preventive medicine doctors, medical doctors, and professional titles of medical doctors of grade IV (code V.08.03.07) to apply the salary coefficient of type B civil servants, from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06.
The transfer of civil servant salaries is carried out according to the provisions of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV dated May 25, 2007 of the Minister of Home Affairs guiding salary arrangement when upgrading, transferring ranks, and changing types of civil servants and public employees.
In your case, you are currently enjoying the A1 civil servant position, now you are transferred to the B civil servant position, in case you have not enjoyed the seniority allowance exceeding the old salary scale, your salary will be ranked at level 12, coefficient 4.06, the salary period in the new salary scale will be calculated from the date of signing the decision to appoint to the new salary scale, the time for considering the next salary increase will be calculated according to the provisions in Clause 1, Section II of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV.
